GOOD WORK DONE BY RPF PERSONNEL:



June, 2016

(a)Apprehension of ToPB offender:

On 27.06.16, the CIB/BZA staff Sri.K.V.Subba Rao, ASIPF/CIB/BZA, Sri.E.Prasad, HC 238/BZA(P) and Sri.S.Srinivasa Rao, Con 168/CIB/BZA apprehended one offender namely Challa Srinu@Mallaiah, aged 30 years, S/o Venkaiah, R/o Chenchaiah Colony, Mangalagiri by pass, Guntur District , who moved North end of PF No.8 of Vijayawada Railway Station on suspicious manner. On enquiry the accused confessed his previous offences that he had committed theft of gold black bead chain weighing about 25 grams, worth Rs.62,500/-. The culprit along with property were handed over to GRP/BZA.GRP/BZA arrested the accused and connected him in previous offence registered by GRP/BZA vide Cr.Nos.648/2014 u/s 379 IPC dated 11.12.14.

 

On 13.06.16, the Crime Prevention and Detection Team (CPDT) member Sri.A.Yesu, Con 5077/BZA(P) apprehended one offender Chandram, aged 36 years, S/o Tangaraju Tevara, R/o 2nd Ward, Ulega Tevera Teru, Cumbam, Tena District, Tamilnadu State, while he was committed theft of one Micromax mobile phone, worth Rs.4,000/- from a passenger by name Jannaguti Raju, R/o Bhavanipuram, Vijayawada on P.F.No.2 of BZA Railway Station, while boarding Train No.67254 Passenger. The culprits along with property were handed over to GRP/BZA who in turn registered a case in Crime No.175/2016 u/s 379 IPC dated 13.06.16.

        Sri.A.Yesu, Constable 5077/BZA Post  is the performer of the month of June, 2016, in this regard, Sr.DSC/BZA sanctioned a cash reward of Rs.100/- for his good work.   


(b)Apprehension of impersonating TTE:


On 23.06.16, Sri.G.S.S.V.Prasad, ASIPF/BZA(P) apprehended a person by name Thotapali Srinivasa Rao, aged 49 years, S/o Satyanarayana, R/o Santhinagar, Singhnagar, Vijayawada, while he was collected money of Rs.500/- from a lady passenger by name Amalapogu Annapurna, aged 30 years, R/o Madhira, Khammam District by acting as TTE, wearing TTE dress and using fake receipt book on Platform No.10 of Vijayawada Railway Station near Tarapeta Booking. On enquiry, he revealed that he was railway employee in Signal Department as a Painter, since 1987 at Madhira, SC Division and he was removed from service in 2015, due to irregular attendance.  The said fake TTE was handed over to GRP/BZA who in turn registered a case in Crime No.184/2016 u/s 419, 420 IPC and took up investigation.




(c)Retrieval of missing luggage of Passengers:


On 18.06.16, information was received from Sri.Sd.Shafi, HC 036/DSCR/BZA that one passenger by name Immandi Srinu Babu, R/o Jagannaikpur, Kakinada, who traveled by Train No.17487 Tirumala Express from TPTY to SLO in B-2 coach berth No.25 to 28 got down at Samalkot Railway Station, he forgot his laptop bag containing SONY LAPTOP, worth Rs.40,000/- and Lenovo, worth Rs.8,000/-, all worth Rs.48,000/- at General waiting hall at SLO RS.  Immediately he contacted DSCR/BZA through Help Line No.182.  On receipt of information, Sri.U.Durga Prasad, SIPF/SLO searched the General waiting hall and recovered the laptop bag and informed to the passenger who came to RPF/SLO Out Post and took over the same under acknowledgement. The said passenger felt very happy and conveyed his appreciation for RPF Help Line No.182 and immediate action by RPF personnel to recovery of his valuables
