Introduction of Mumbai LTT – Karaikal – Mumbai LTT Weekly Express & Ajni (Nagpur) – Mumbai LTT – Ajni (Nagpur) Weekly Express

As announced in Railway Budget 2013-14  two new weekly express trains have been introduced between Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) - Karaikal & Ajni (Nagpur) - Mumbai LTT as detailed below:-

1.Mumbai LTT – Karaikal Weekly Express 

With effect from 2nd November, 2013, Train No. 11017 Mumbai LTT – Karaikal Weekly Express will depart Mumbai LTT at 12 05 hrs every Saturday and arrive Karaikal at      18 45 hrs o­n the next day.

In the return direction, with effect from 4th November, 2013, Train No. 11018 Karaikal - Mumbai LTT Weekly Express will depart Karaikal at 14 00 hrs every Monday and arrive Mumbai LTT at 23 45 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute, this train will stop at Thane, Kalyan, Lonavala, Pune, Solapur, Gulbarga, Wadi, Yadgir, Raichur, Mantralayam Road, Guntakal, Gooty, Tadipatri, Yerraguntla, Cuddapah, Renigunta, Arakkonam, Chennai Egmore, Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Tiruppadirippullyur, Chidambaram, Sirkazi, Mayiladuthurai, Thiruvarur, Nagapattinam and Nagore stations in both the directions.

This train will consist of 17 Coaches viz., o­ne AC II tier, two AC III tier, six Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van coaches with accommodation for disabled persons.

2.Ajni (Nagpur) - Mumbai LTT Weekly Express 

With effect from 1st November, 2013, Train No. 11202 Ajni (Nagpur) – Mumbai LTT Weekly Express will depart Ajni (Nagpur) at 16 15 hrs every Friday and arrive Mumbai LTT at 13 45 hrs o­n the next day.

In the return direction, with effect from 4thNovember, 2013, Train No. 11201 Mumbai LTT – Ajni (Nagpur) Weekly Express will depart Mumbai LTT at 16 15 hrs every Monday and arrive Ajni (Nagpur) at 14 15 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute, this train will stop at Akola, Washim, Hingoli, Basmat, Purna, Parbhani, Selu, Partur, Jalna, Aurangabad, Lasur, Rotegaon and Manmad stations in both the directions.

This train will consist of 18 Coaches viz., o­ne AC II tier, three AC III tier, six Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van coaches with accommodation for disabled persons.
