Shri R. K. Kulshrestha, General Manager, SCR Flags off Employees Special Overseas Tour


Shri R. K. Kulshrestha, General Manager flagged off the South Central Railway Employees Special Overseas Tour to Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dabi today i.e.,
28th January, 2019 from Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad. 114 employees participating in the tour left to Hyderabad Airport by buses which had been flagged off by the General Manager.

 

Addressing the gathering, Shri R.K.Kulshreshta complimented the Personnel department for taking up such unique initiative o­n Indian Railways for conducting Overseas Tour for employees. The employee recreation tours will motivate the staff for increased productivity and South Central Railway is providing 70 % subsidy o­n the tour expenses for all the participants. He expressed happiness and wished all employees to carry a memorable tour experience o­n their return. Indian Railways is taking care of its employees in all aspects, he added. Shri John Thomas, Additional General Manager advised the overseas tour participants to take care and cherish the moments during the tour.

 

South Central Railway is conducting o­ne of its kind employee centric welfare measures, a five day Employees Special Overseas Camp to & Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. The Personnel Department is organising Special Overseas Camp for employees comprising of both male and female employees majorly belonging to the lower grades and those who are nearing the age of superannuation under the aegis of Staff Benefit Fund (SBF) from
29th January to 2nd February, 2019 organised by IRCTC. This is the 2nd such camp being organized for the employees, the first being the tour to Singapore & Malaysia last year.

 

The Employees for the overseas camp are selected from the Headquarters Office, all six Divisions of the Zone - Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Guntakal, Guntur and Nanded; Lallaguda Workshop; Rayanapadu Workshop and Tirupati Workshop.

 

The tour covers all the major tourist locations in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu-Dhabi including city tour of Dubai & Abu Dhabi, Dhow Cruise, visit to Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa, Abu Dhabi’s Grand Mosque, Global Village, Dessert Safari etc.,

 

Shri N.V.Ramana Reddy, Principal Chief Personnel Officer, South Central Railway; Shri D. Narsinga Rao, Group General Manager, IRCTC and other senior officials were present o­n the occasion.
