Shri Vinod Kumar Yadav, General Manager, SCR Presents Man of the Month Awards



Shri Vinod Kumar Yadav, General Manager, South Central Railway  presented the “Man of the Month” safety awards to Twelve employees for displaying absolute dedication and alertness in the duty and taking timely action to prevent unsafe conditions. He conducted a review meeting o­n improvement of safety, punctuality and Loading today i.e., o­n 06thAugust, 2018 at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad along with Principal Heads of Departments. The Divisional Railway Managers (DRMs) of all six Divisions i.e. Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Guntakal, Guntur and Nanded attended the meeting through video conference.

The General Manager emphasized o­n according priority to Safety, Punctuality by minimizing asset failures to improve mobility of trains. He instructed all the officials to monitor personally each and every aspect such as loco failures, yard derailments and unusual happenings at level crossings etc. He instructed all the DRMs to focus o­n “Mission Satyanishta” where all the Officers & Supervisors of all departments must be counseled in a phased manner. He added that every station must be provided with toilets for general passengers and Divyangjan by the end of September 2018.

Shri Vinod Kumar Yadav also held a detailed review o­n the loading performance of the Zone including supply of wagons as per demand etc.. While reviewing the passenger amenities, he instructed the officials to focus o­n speeding up of works related to foot over bridges (FOBs), Raising the height of platforms and providing adequate water arrangements in the station premises/trains.
