Install Quick Watering Facility to Coaches For Providing Better Services to the Passengers -Shri Vinod Kumar Yadav, GM,SCR

Shri Vinod Kumar Yadav, General Manager, South Central Railway stressed upon installation of quick watering facility to coaches at Secunderabad and some other important Railway Stations along with setting up of Automatic coach washing machines to improve the standards of coach cleaning . He conducted a detailed review meeting o­n Safety, Punctuality and Freight loading today i.e., 25th June, 2018 at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad along with Principal Heads of Departments. The Divisional Railway Managers (DRMs) of all six Divisions i.e. Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Guntakal, Guntur and Nanded attended the meeting through video conference.

Shri Vinod Kumar Yadav conducted review of all the safety aspects o­n the Zone including minor incidents of unusual happenings like gate open case, minor derailments in yards and human failures etc., He instructed officials to follow the gate working rules strictly and advised the officials that no short cut methods should be followed. He instructed the Officials to strictly implement the system improvement circulars to ensure the safety.

Speaking o­n the Punctuality Shri Vinod Kumar Yadav stated that the punctuality should be monitored carefully with due focus o­n the safety. He instructed the officials to improve the mobility of the trains to optimal level by planning the removal of temporary speed restrictions and advised to identify the causes. He discussed o­n asset failures mostly signal and loco failures which are hampering the punctuality. He instructed the Divisional Railway Managers to plan to educate the passengers regarding unnecessary acts of Alarm Chain Pulling to avoid the hindrances causing loss of punctuality.

Ramana Reddy, Principal Chief Personnel Officer; Shri K.H.K.Dora, Principal Chief Medical Director and Shri Sanjay Sankrityanan, Chief Security Commissioner were amongst the officials present.
